Mrs. Li began the class by asking each student to share something they had done over the weekend. As she called on each student, she listened intently to their responses and asked follow-up questions to encourage them to elaborate further.
"小明,你过周末做了什么有趣的事情吗?" (Xiao Ming, what interesting things did you do over the weekend?)
(Xiao Ming replied shyly that he went to play in a park with his friends.]
“那真是太好了!你喜欢哪些游戏呢?” (That sounds great! Which games do you like playing?)
(After a moment's silence, Xiao Ming said they played basketball.)
“哦,那真是很棒!”(Oh, that's really cool!)Mrs. Li smiled encouragingly.
The rest of the class continued in this vein until every student had shared something about their weekend. Mrs. Li then asked them all to write down three things they were grateful for from their experiences.
As students worked on their gratitude lists, Mrs.Li walked around the classroom offering assistance and encouragement when needed.
When everyone had finished writing down their lists of gratitude items,Mrs.Li asked each person to read out one thing from theirs own list aloud。
One after another, students shared what made them thankful:a beautiful sunset during a family outing;the laughter and memories created while playing sports;and even just having time alone without distractions。
As these heartfelt expressions filled up classroom air,it was clear that gratitude could be found in both big and small moments of life.
Gratitude List
At this point,Mrs.Li revealed her surprise: She would give an extra credit if someone could tell her exactly how many words there were in C了这个词。This challenge sparked excitement among students who quickly started counting words.
While some struggled with word count calculation others explored meanings behind "C了" which often symbolizes satisfaction or contentment.
In less than two minutes,a boy named Xiao Wang raised his hand confidently saying “There are 3 characters in 'C了'” (Xiaowang confidently raised his hand saying “There are 3 characters in 'Cled'.”)
Mrs.Li nodded approvingly at him,"You're absolutely right!"
She then announced that not only would Xiao Wang receive extra credit but also he got an additional homework assignment: Write about why "Cled" is important for us.
With joyous applause filling classroom space,Mrs.Li concluded today’s lesson reminding everyone that no matter where we go or what we do – it's always important remember those little joys along our journey.
