守株待兔的故事直播销售玉石如同陷阱切涨与切跌之间的选择让人犹豫不决
在网络直播的迷雾中,电信团伙以玉石为诱饵,织就了一张巨大的骗局。据报道,安徽省宣城市宣州区人民法院recently handed down a verdict in a case involving 24 defendants accused of telecommunications fraud. The ringleader, Tang Yongqing, and his accomplices used online live streaming to sell Myanmar jade and stones, defrauding 859 million yuan from their victims.
The scam began in August 2019 when Tang Yongqing, Li Guangrun, and four others established the Shangri-La Jewelry Company in Yunnan Province. They planned to use live streaming to sell fake jade and stones at inflated prices. In January 2020, Deng et al., who later became shareholders of the company, joined forces with Tang Yongqing et al., implementing the same fraudulent scheme.
The scammers would create false sales pitches on various platforms during evening hours (8pm-11pm), claiming that they had imported rare jade from Myanmar. Customer service personnel would then contact potential buyers through WeChat or phone calls using pre-determined scripts. Once customers were convinced to buy into the scam by purchasing overpriced or non-existent jade products at inflated prices.
To make matters worse for their victims, once the initial sale was made under the guise of "cutting profits" (涨价), these criminals would later claim that there was an unexpected "dip" (跌) in value after which they could offer some form of compensation for this supposed loss due to normal market fluctuations as part of their criminal plan aimed at maximizing profit while causing financial distress among unsuspecting consumers.
In total between January 1st - May 12th ,Tang Yongqin & co managed to swindle a staggering sum equivalent to almost $120 Million from forty-seven people across China! This highly organized crime ring consisted of several key players: Tang Yongqin acting as mastermind; Li Guangrun handling logistics; Chen Cunying managing finances; other fifteen staff members working together like well-oiled machines performing customer support roles within this illegal enterprise while three foreign nationals namely U Gao Muqi、U Nami Yin、and U Meiling Yin served as actors pretending themselves as sellers offering Myanmar-made Jade & Stone items sold via web-based channels
Finally after reviewing all evidence presented before them judges concluded each defendant’s actions committed by utilizing deception tactics such as fabricating facts concealed truthfully tricking innocent individuals out obtaining money dishonestly resulting legal consequences including imprisonment ranging from ten years two months up until twelve years three months along side mandatory fines amounting up towards hundreds thousands RMB dollars respectively depending upon individual circumstances
As stated earlier one can't help but wonder how many more victims remain unaware about being preyed upon by cunning con artists exploiting technology's vast reach without ever realizing it took place right beneath our noses!
